Pre-operative Instructions

The following instructions may be helpful when preparing for your upcoming surgery. Please do not hesitate to call if you have any last minute questions. We can be reached at Atlanta Periodontal Group Phone Number 770-994-5678 during regular business hours.

Please eat a light breakfast or meal before your appointment because you will be unable to eat immediately following your appointment. If you are able to take ibuprofen, you can take 800mg 1 hour before the appointment if you have eaten.

Please maintain your normal medication schedule for any medications that you take on a daily basis unless Dr. Barnes or your physician has specifically requested that you stop your medication.

Please understand that we schedule approximately 2 hours for surgical appointments and it is important that you keep your appointment and arrive on time.
